EFF:DAVE — the Extensible Flow Framework Framework for Distributed Audio Video Endpoints — wasn't designed in a conference room. It was designed in East Tennessee venues, during live service, by someone who got tired of watching great bars fight their own televisions and lose.

Three years of development. Real deployments running through real football seasons, real fight nights, and at least one incident involving a screensaver of a fireplace during a playoff game. Every feature exists because a real venue needed it on a real Saturday.

We're aWESome TechNologies. The capitalization is intentional. So is everything else we build.

Why "Framework Framework"? Because one framework wasn't enough. That's the level of engineering commitment you're dealing with here.

Why "DAVE"? It stands for Distributed Audio Video Endpoints. That is the complete and only explanation. There is no other Dave. Anyone telling you otherwise is spreading rumors, and frankly, Dave deserves better.
